An old General was attending a gathering of Diplomats and other Generals and such in France one Day. At one point during a discussion, a French General commented in a rather rude manner, to why, at all of these functions do we have to speak English, why can't we speak French at these meetings.
With out hesitation, the Ol' English speaking General piped up and said,
Well, maybe its because, the Americans, Canadian, Aussies and Britans made it so that you dont have to speak German.
