Not a fan of Mladin, he's a great racer by all means but he is not great to his fans by any means whatsoever. Met him at VIR years ago as a fan then other racers were much more open to their fans. I think he forgot that all his success is because people like to watch racing, without the fans he'd be nothing. That all said, the move he made with the hat was priceless! Worth 1000 words and then some. I'm hoping DMG gets it right but lately my hope is fading.
ive heard of DMG/AMA being a bad thing....... but i still don't really know why....what exactly are they limiting superbikes to??.... and is it only a bad thing for suzuki?
What do you expect? The dream child event of the new DMG/AMA sucks. Basically superbikes are now castrated to perform slower (not due to safety reasons, but to help the other manufactures get closer to suzuki). Suzuki btw shelled out lots of $R&D and now they are being penalized by the new moto-nascar owners. I would of thrown that "Daytona" hat off too..especially if my suzuki sponsors are paying me to put a "suzuki" hat on.
