I own this movie, but as I lay here suffering from stomach flu when I hear a character in my son's video game sing "Daisy Bell". It took me a moment but then I remembered Aunt Glady sings it in this WONDERFUL movie. I agree that it's underrated. The acting is spectacular and I love the perfect balance of humor, seriousness and love story. I can't pick a favorite part because I have a connection with every character.

Does anyone think that JoAnne's husband messed up his line when he said "Claudia, it's not even worth it"? 1:54 He was talking to his wife and said the name of Holy Hunter's character...
I love how I was able to work this scene into my literature homework which discusses the significance of "meal scenes" in works and how they reveal EVERYTHING.

It's been a while since I've seen it, but I think the issue is that the sister brought a Tofu turkey to have along with the regular turkey, and nobody wanted it. So having the real turkey tossed in her lap was just the icing on the cake. Great movie, one of my all time favorites!
Maybe it was really expensive and made out of a fabric that doesnt clean easily? Still...i wouldn't call my brother a cocksucker over that...especially if my brother was Robert Downey Jr lol
