Everything is messy.....

tempos, wrong notes, out of tune, everything is out of control. The key is in the tempo, take it slower, there´s no problem if you slow the tempo also in the 3rd mov. I bet it´ll sound much better! relax, it`s not bad but you have to be carfull with all the details wich are the most important thing here and in all music. Keep going!!

The tempo did definitely get away from me at the end.

The written notes have trills; in small notes above the staff it indicates that you may flutter-tongue the second half of each measure.

I didn't do it because I didn't like it - not sure that there's any problem with adding the flutter-tongue if you want to.

currently I am practicing Doppler: Chanson d'amour op 20 and Pierre Sancan: Sonantine just to give you an idea where I am with the flute now! why?

I play flute as well, and I would advice that you do what you feel most comfortable with.

Recall that if you perform something, it doesn't necessarily make something better. It's a delicate issue, if you can flutter and it still sounds good then go for it, and if you achieve the opposite perhaps it's best to leave it out.
