my slide was steep as hell! not quite as long, but i remember it being ridiculously tall, steep and scary, and the end was about 4 feet off the ground, because i always had trouble getting down

now i haven't gone back to the slide, since i've moved several times since then, but i am rather tall at 6 feet, and i was a very tall child, so i know that slide had to have been huge in reality, and not just my mind!

There's a MUCH bigger slide in Bairnsdale, VIC (IIRC). My (then 2 year old) would throw himself down it. Biggest problem was it was plastic and at the bottom you had enough static to power the city of bairnsdale for a month... ;)
