sand sharks do not have teeth, sand tiger sharks do have teeth. People may confuse sand sharks with dog fish which look very similar and they do have teeth.
The jetty where this shark was caught is right next to where the ferry comes in. From this jetty one can see the front of The National Hotel on Water Street.
They are sharks....Yes, they bite. They arent dangerous by any means, but they will bite if threatened or pestered. And the guy who side they do but it doesnt hurt...they have teeth, so dont listen to him. A bite is a bite, they hurt. But then again, you shoudlnt be petting a shark in the first place, so you cant blame it.
