You got a great engineer. What type of rig is that? And I noticed that you said that you weren't even halfway to the scene, how long is your average response (I would think longer than an Engine because rescues are spaced out farther apart)?

@sameerxD Yeah, a lot of pickup drivers tend to think they own the road for some reason (probably because they're brainwashed by pickup advertising). Of course there are good pickup drivers too. As for the cocky drivers, one accident with a real truck usually brings them to reality if it doesn't kill them.

What happens if your department gets a confirmed extercation call out. Does the Engine have to get moved befor your rescue con get out or dose the engine roll out first ? Some deparments have engines that are extercation capable how dose tis department work in that respect? Dses your department have operator or engineer only personal or is every one trained to be bale to be an engineer and 1ST one at station drive? Thank you for the video.

great vid american fire engines look and sound much better than the british ones. over here in the uk we dont by law have to move for emergency vehicals only out of courtesy. Also wot is a Q that you all talk about

@vesski The "Q" is the mechanical siren that comes on again at 4:50 after being off for 10 seconds or so. It's used by many fire departments in the US because it is much louder than an electronic siren with wail or yelp. You know a fire truck is coming up quick if you hear that siren anywhere.

The watch commander said that there "was no entrapment" and told them to turn back. Meaning that everyone involved was already out the vehicle and the rescue unit wasn't needed.

WTF where did that come from? I'm a Firefighter from Michigan and we CAN fight fire, and we are NOT pricks. We deal with more fires in a week than you will ever see in your career. The guys I work with are some of the best firefighters you would EVER be lucky enough to meet, also the nicest. Tell the little girl who lost her mother in a fire that the firefighters who could do nothing else but comfort her and give her a stuffed animal to hold are pricks.

If I had to leave this world, I rather go out a hero then a coward. One thing I have noticed about fire fighters is that they have sincere and genuine love for their job. Pay has little or nothing to do with it, because there is not enough money to pay a fire fighter for the job they do.

I wish I could have become a fire fighter.

Running Lights And Sirens Take From 20- 30 minutes when i respond in pov, but no lights and sirens take about 40 depending on the time of day sense pigeon forge is a major tourist attraction
