Hidden Springs layout sucks! Who puts a stadium near the science laboratory?It's all grey and lifeless...color wise its all monochrome. It's as if no time at all was spent making this world. The mountains I agree, are fabulous. Everything else just sucks. Total waste of money if you ask me. There aren't many clubs or space to make them...I suggest just downloading custom worlds made by fans. Far better than what EA makes.

EA/MAXIS, if you are reading this PLEEASE make a sci-fi/futuristic town. I know the store has some neat kitchen and living room scifi stuff. But I think it would be neat to have rabbitholes that are more sci fi and maybe a flying car. Riverview was free and it was the same deal: a new town with objects included for free. Sims 3 is all bark and no bite, I still think that some people get payed to say the game is awesome cause its not. And EA charges $22 for this? Have you no shame? EA and The Sims 3 have become way too expensive for the average Sims player. What a rip off. EA keeps pumping out the CC, charging outrageous prices for objects and worlds you can find in the Sims 3 Modding community for free. I have every Sims game and expansion pack, from the original Sims to Sims 3 Generations. Hey EA!! Why not make this stuff reasonably priced to show your appreciation to your loyal fans? @zeekslider It's probably a bug in the game that will be fixed when you purchase the newest expansion pack. I bought World Adventures and it was so buggy that I can't even play the game.
@BlueShreveport Ha! Their updated Terms of Service clearly states that EA is not obligated to fix any of their DLC, and that EA is not responsible for any of their DLC being broken, corrupting your game, or even virus free. All DLC are "as is" products according to their new TOS.
And World Adventures is unplayable now that Patch 1.22 killed the Photography Skill in my game. I'm lucky I can still travel and tomb raid. No pics for my Sims, however.
@zeekslider Sounds like EA, at least you can play WA. I mean I can play it but when my sim returns from vacation it creates a clone sim and causes other sims in the game to become "stuck" and unplayable, plus the vacation game doesnt save.

I hope when PETS comes out, everyone who buys it will be reporting errors and giving it poor reviews. It is the most demanded EP from the fan community, and given all the shoddy programing and even shadier DLC content handling, having an EP bomb in sales and reviews would be a good thing for EA.
I love how enthusiastic these people are, you can tell how much they like it and how much effort they have put into it. At least EA have actually put effort in, unlike Activision, the people who make Call Of Duty, they just create maps and expect people to pay for them. You can tell EA have put much more effort into this overall.
2500 simpoints, rip off. EA have turned The Sims into a big money maker by setting sky-high prices, and because people buy it, the prices will only increase! EA THINK! If it was 1000-2000 simpoints, people would buy it more... and hence more money.

I will not be purchasing this. Why do they try to come up with crap worlds like this? You can find AWESOME worlds like coasterboi or freshprincecreations that are proof that we don't need EA for everything. I will say that the people that make the new content are very good at their jobs and deserve respect. I know for sure I could never do the magic that they do. If they would have contests or pay in Sim Points to make a world or houses, much more consumer love would go thier way.

@zeekslider It's probably a bug in the game that will be fixed when you purchase the newest expansion pack. I bought World Adventures and it was so buggy that I can't even play the game.

@BlueShreveport Ha! Their updated Terms of Service clearly states that EA is not obligated to fix any of their DLC, and that EA is not responsible for any of their DLC being broken, corrupting your game, or even virus free. All DLC are "as is" products according to their new TOS.
And World Adventures is unplayable now that Patch 1.22 killed the Photography Skill in my game. I'm lucky I can still travel and tomb raid. No pics for my Sims, however.

@zeekslider Sounds like EA, at least you can play WA. I mean I can play it but when my sim returns from vacation it creates a clone sim and causes other sims in the game to become "stuck" and unplayable, plus the vacation game doesnt save.

@BlueShreveport Do you still have your big ticket purchases when you come back from your WA trips? Because I don't, and supposedly, EA fixed this with their most recent patch, which I have!
I hope when PETS comes out, everyone who buys it will be reporting errors and giving it poor reviews. It is the most demanded EP from the fan community, and given all the shoddy programing and even shadier DLC content handling, having an EP bomb in sales and reviews would be a good thing for EA.

I love how enthusiastic these people are, you can tell how much they like it and how much effort they have put into it. At least EA have actually put effort in, unlike Activision, the people who make Call Of Duty, they just create maps and expect people to pay for them. You can tell EA have put much more effort into this overall.

2500 simpoints, rip off. EA have turned The Sims into a big money maker by setting sky-high prices, and because people buy it, the prices will only increase! EA THINK! If it was 1000-2000 simpoints, people would buy it more... and hence more money.

I will not be purchasing this. Why do they try to come up with crap worlds like this? You can find AWESOME worlds like coasterboi or freshprincecreations that are proof that we don't need EA for everything. I will say that the people that make the new content are very good at their jobs and deserve respect. I know for sure I could never do the magic that they do. If they would have contests or pay in Sim Points to make a world or houses, much more consumer love would go thier way.
