  • @MyXxquickscopeXx What the hell are you talking about? If you have CP, you should be doing anything you possibly can to enhance your OWN life fool. Why are you so concerned about others when YOU need help? You sound like a fool.

  • About how many stem cells are harvested from a donated umbilcal cord compared to how much can be extracted from the bone marrow of a 3 year old boy? I would prefer using my son's own bone marrow, as I feel it seems safer, but is extracting from his bone marrow harder on him, being so young? Also do you have any figures of success rate comparing donated umbilical cord vs. autologous bone marrow stem cells for cp?

  • @cellmedicine you should be investigated for your fake accent !

  • @stemcellscientist You racist pig. You are certainly no stem cell scientist and are probably a government paid stooge. You are outnumbered moron. Go away.

  • @cellmedicine I guess people called the FBI because you wasted all of your time making educational videos...there is no promotion here of anything...there are so many HATERS in life

  • @stemcellscientist Haters???? Oh, you mean like YOU.

  • There is another good video of someone with Cerebral Palsy by Dr. Bob Segalman on Youtube and the title is "Telephone access for AAC users".

  • Do not depurate be happy with naughty women mworld5.info

  • Your video is very useful! I was born with hypoxia too. I don't have CP, but Arnold-Chiari Malformation (the cerebellum is the lower area in the back of the brain that controls balance, motor control ad muscle tone, in addition to a variety of other functions). I have three friends with CP, and I know two of them in person. They use their left hand to do everything. Are there any correlation between CP and left-handedness?

  • @SzChristie thank you so much for the nice words. i dont know about left-handedness and cp...but ill keep my eyes open

you may want to contact the clinic (cellmedicine) for more info on clinical end

  • @cellmedicine Thank you for your reply! I keep my eyes open too, and try to find a doctor who may knows it. :)

  • why rats why not an animal with a larger mass

  • @supermorshu I can answer that. If you use larger animals, typically PETA will attack you for it and when using rats, no one seems to care. Rats are also easy to acquire and raise not to mention CHEAP.

  • why rats why not a animal with a larger mass

  • hahahahaha Bush

  • What about people who have had CP all their life? Like me I'm 19.

I have heard of younger children around 2 being given stem cells from chord blood to help the first signs of CP.

  • My neighbor had cerebral palsy and went through SCC International (407) 610-4248 who coordinated a medical evaluation by an Asian doctor. They had to travel to an overseas treatment center, but their condition totally REVERSED. It was incredible.

  • why not just rebuild your own body parts again inside your own body using your own adult stem cells the natural way ,the technology to do that is available only now check it out for yourself go now to w w w . vitalityunlimited . stemtechbiz . com

  • shinkisoushi, your videos are no good and have a lot less impact than the wonderful gentleman who made all the cellmedicine videos

your comment is insulting and highly offensive

  • His accent is fine.

  • what's WWRONG with YOU???????? many great brilliant scientists don't speak ENGLISH.

  • This gives me so much hope for dear sister who sits in a wheelchair all day with cerebral palsy, more specifically dystonia. Any shot she has at a better quality of life, were taking it. For her to even to be able to speak to us and tell us what she needs or even have a conversation would make this all so worth it. Thank you for posting this cellmed.

  • My son is in the same condition and i fully agree with your post. Have you heard about the Hoag Machine? It is a machine that is hooked up to cp patients, i think it attaches to their brain, and a computer talks for them all they have to do is think it.

  • I havent heard of that exact technology, may i ask if you have used it and have you had any success?

  • My wife and I have not used it, we just recently saw a video on youtube titled "Team Hoyt" Look it up! It is a very great story about a man and his son whom has CP. In the video the son is using some sort of computer to communicate with everyone. It is really amazing. We have been trying to google it, and come up with the name for that type of machine. I'm sure that we will find it sooner or later.

  • I have spoken to 2 parents who's children had CP and seizures. Both children are seizure free, one of them after their first tx ant the other after their 4th tx.

  • Does anyone have any info about epilepsy and stem cells? Was going to contact David Steenblock D.O.

  • Thats a very interesting question. The only problem is that people are starting to think stem cells are gtood for everything and obviously that can not be the case.

  • Ok guys, you know that theoretically caffiene may have some effects...well at least on white matter in animal models..

Back et al. Protective effects of caffeine on chronic hypoxia-induced perinatal white matter injury.

    Ann Neurol. 2006 Dec;60(6):696-705.

  • Who can I talk to about treating adults with CP?

    SuzanneMichelleW

  • I called the Cellmedicine (guys who put up the video) and talked to some of the doctors there 1 954 636 3390 or look it up on google, cellmedicine

  • I will try the phone number tommorow, thank you so much, I will let you know if it works.

    Thanks

    Suzanne

  • Interesting that cellmedicine would discuss such an important topic at a scientific level. I dont know any other clinic that talks about scientific issues just for the sake of teaching the public. They dont self promote at all !

  • The rationale behind this is solid. Hopefully, the US will allow this therapy soon so that we dont ahve to take our children to central america.

It is great that Cellmedicine is posting videos like this that are based on scientific points not appeal to emotion lol

  • Stem cell therapy for cerebral palsy...i guess the injured tissue releases stromal derived growth factor to selecctively home in the stem cells to the white matter injury

  • yes its for cerebral palsy thanks so much!!!!

  • is stem cell treatments available in america yet?

  • Yes ! well if you are on a clinical trial. You can find clinical trials at the clinicaltrials dot gov site. Cellmedicine seems to provide similar stem cell therapies as in clinical trials as a fee for service

  • whats a clincal trail? do you know if i can recieve anything in NY?

  • For cerebral palsy or for something else? For cerebral palsy your best bet is to contact stemcellmom . Type stemcellmom into youtube search, the lady on the video, she arranges cord blood stem cell therapy for cerebral palsy if you saved your own. she is connected with joanne kurtzberg at duke who does the procedure.

  • @Rainxshadow Not yet but we are very close to bypassing the U.S. government (FDA, CDC, etc.) altogether.

  • Hey this is neat...the green labeled human cord blood stem cells entering the rat brain that was damaged to mimic cerebral palsy. Great job Cellmedicine !! not only do you offer treatments but you explain how they work

  • This video is really interesting since it shows in an straightforward manner that stem cells can cross the brain blood barrier in cerebral palsy. This is a medical first, no?

  • We agree 100%.

  • be careful! unfortunately, companies take advantage of people's vulnerabilities and extreme desires to improve the lives of their selves or children. DO YOUR RESEARCH! some 'medical' companies that practice stem cell therapy use risky and unproven methods that can be harmful and/or ineffective... and charge exorbitant fees! take the time to do your research.

  • @mom2anangel751 Yes, this is very true. Here is one that has nothing but licensed doctors on staff, two of which have Phd's in genetics and they utilize xenotransplantation which has tremedous proven efficacy and are safer than taking a couple of aspirin. No lie. ProGenacell.....just do a google seach and you will find their website.

  • cerebral palsy is terrible. Its great to see cellmedicine putting all this work into mking videos that describe this condition. Is it possible to get stem cells from the cellmedicine website?
