What you don't understand is the Royals have obviously had many more of those games, which is why they are in LAST!

Actually, our teams have probably had around the same number of those games, because we tend to lose close games. It's our offense that can be the problem usually, not our pitching, especially early in the year.

The Royals r gonna be a serious contender here within 3-5 years I think. They wont do too much this year, but they will make some noise. They got so many good prospects. Gordon, Butler, Maier, Hochevar, Bannister, Lubanski (sp?), Huber, the list goes on. Then you throw in vets like Meche, Grud, etc. You get a good mix. It wont show up in the stats but, Sweeney's impact on some of those young guys will be helpful later on. Especially Gordon & Butler

The Royals r gonna be a serious contender here within 3-5 years I think. They wont do too much this year, but they will make some noise. They got so many good prospects. Gordon, Butler, Maier, Hochevar, Bannister, Lubanski (sp?), Huber, the list goes on. Then you throw in vets like Meche, Grud, etc. You get a good mix. It wont show up in the stats but, Sweeney's impact on some of those young guys will be helpful later on. Especially Gordon & Butler
