I don't generally leave bad comments, but this is not a very good review so if you're thinking about buying this camera then listen:

The "U" does not mean it's progressive, it means it's the NTSC version, not the PAL one. All versions of the camera shoot 1080i HDV that's 1440x1080 lines of resolution.

Never take off the sun shade if it gets too sunny, it will make flares on your video.

i think the biggest problem is the steady shot you can't walk and get a full steady shot

why would you get this camera?you like only make videos of your computer screen so...why,and you probably got one of those gay ass digital cameras your filming with so why would you go pro that fast?luckely i orderd mine and its going to a good owner...just joking;)great review,just want to get some last min. notices about it cause i'm getting it next week,pretty darn hard to find a review let alone a good one about this camera...

@skatecuracao THX man make sure to watch in 1080p to get the full quality, and my dad bought this camera for our family vacations and stuff, the he got a digital SLR so he gave this one to me cause i want to cinnimatic editor when im in college, I edit my skits i just never put them up.
