I personally love all 4 sisters. I love the dark tone of show when Prue was on it and I loved the creative edge of when Paige was on the show. I loved how Piper went from a shy, witty, peace keeping middle sister to a sarcastic, domineering, strongwillied oldest sister and mother. I love Phoebe going from carefree baby of the family to successful middle sister but still a free spirit at heart. I love Prue's strength and confidence and I love Paige's sassiness and sense of humor. I LOVE CHARMED!

everyone keeps saying Charmed was better when Paige came in but what people don't realize is that when Prue was on there, the show was a huge success on the WB. During the Paige years, the show was all about special effects and fantasy rather than the creative suggestions that were used for seasons 1-3

I don't remember much about the episodes when Prue was on but now that I catching up with episodes on the WE channel I notice that the storylines were more about helping the regualar people around them and fighting demons too. But when Prue died and Paige came in the show became just all about fighting demons. Don't get me wrong I like the show either way. But it seems in the beginning the show was about helping others rather than just fighting off demons.

@LiveLaughLove8489 There's a lot that was forced on this show even during the 2nd & 3rd year Shannen was on the show which is what caused her to get bored with the show & quit after season 2 because season 3 was when she signed off. Sure season 2 & 3 had the ratings as I indicated on the top post, but you can tell the writers were running out of ideas in the 2nd season & started becoming lazy with ideas so Rose was just next in line for desperate ideas lol
