Remember those "Upside-Down" 7-Up Glasses? I do..I bought two in the '70's when I lived in New York,in Nyack! It was an Incense and Candles place..I also bought a "Flicker Flame Light" 7-Up can with a Bulb, too! BTW,My fav Soda is 7-Up,too! But now it's too expensive to buy!
Oh, so close! I'm still looking for the 7-Up commercial parody of the Alka-Seltzer ads like "I can't believe I ate the whole thing", "Mamma Mia, 'atsa some spicy meatball" and so on.
It starts with a guy talking to the camera about trying to order a burger and the guy keeps saying "get Un with it", the guy finally explains: "no, get *UN* with it; 7-Up, the *UN*-cola". Then it cuts to the glass of 7-Up as two bottle caps drop in one after the other (plop, plop!) like tablets.
Hm, wow, there must have been a Fruit Roll-Up stuck to that guy's glass.

But be sure to use a straw with whatever you drink.

I think the same font was used for all advertising during the 70's.

Yes! 7UP was always a sponsor during Star Trek -- especially the rerun seasons of '75-'76, right after "I Dream of Jeannie" ;-)
