This is so funny! I was doing the 100 coin challenge and I had 99 coins and I got that lone coin at the top right of the screen at 1:30 and the star came. I had to jump off of the carpet and get it. You know how you have to touch ground to confirm the star? I fell and fell and fell, but then I hit some sort of invisible wall at the bottom, and I flew up and got the star, but then after that I fell and died. But who cares?! It was the last star!!!

When I was a kid I used to play this game all the time. I always played with Mario and Luigi but I had a very hard time because I never knew you could backflip. I even got all the way to the last Bowser challenge, but I never beat it. I think I'll ask for this game for Christmas so I can redeem myself.
