No there is nothing wrong with the tacho readings! Read the other comments and replies. If you know these 3cyl engines you will know how they rev. I dont get to full boost until about 4600 rpm with the larger turbo we run.
When slowing down or changing down i noticed your rev counter is stil reading 4000rpm!, Sounds like engine is actually doing 2500-3000rpm. Seems to be over reading loads!, Maybe a 4 cylinder charade has been fitted (or it's just faulty, which is common!)
The rev counter over-reads by about 300rpm but thats it. Its not a 4cyl tacho, its a 3cyl one. When i have the laptop plugged in my ECU gives me an accurate engine speed. I can assure you it might sound like the revs are lower than they are, but that is a feature of a free-flowing CB80 motor and an artefact of the video recording! They do sound like they are revving lower than they are. You can even hear me bouncing off the limiter on a couple occasions (in race 1) which is set to 7500 rpm.
Great sound ! seem there something wrong on rpm tacho readings.

Agreed! Its reading approx 1000rpm over. Peak revs here sound like 6500-7000 to me. I've had too many to not know the revs according to the sound.
