He said he wanted to be a history major and the football team told him that it would require too much of his time and that he should major in something like underwater basket-weaving or the like. Vick has a high-powered rifle of an arm and Robinson has a cap gun. Robinson won't even be the fastest QB in the Big 10 next season after Nebraska arrives, Martinez has much better acceleration and can sustain his speed over a longer time than Robinson can, plus he's a bigger guy and therefore won't always be getting hurt like Robinson does.

I just watched some videos of him from this year and I see terrible mechanics and poor accuracy, so the arm strength under those circumstances is irrelevant. Second point: He is fast, but not out of this world fast, he looks a lot more impressive playing MAC and Big East teams than teams from the Big 10, and his rushing instincts are poor, he runs into defenders in the open field instead of away from them and he is undersized and injury-prone. Explain how that gets him an NFL QB gig?

In 1997 they won a NC... which was when a 25 year old was 12. I can remember it and I was 8. Michigan has been relevant up until RR came here and we will return.

According to Harbaugh, if your'e football or basketball star it does only take a pulse to get into Michigan. He said he wanted to be a history major and the football team told him that it would require too much of his time and that he should major in something like underwater basket-weaving or the like. I'll agree that Michigan is a good state university but compared to Stanford, it's double-A minor-league, and Stanford doesn't cheat by steering it's athletes into taking bogus courses.

I wasn't comparing UM to OSU academically, I was comparing them to Stanford because that was who MU was trying to poach their next head coach from and because he played for UM in the 80's. Harbaugh said the UM's commitment to student-athletes was a lie and pointed out that at Stanford it wasn't. I said also that UM is totally outclassed academically by Stanford, which is true.

Vick has a high-powered rifle of an arm and Robinson has a cap gun. Robinson won't even be the fastest QB in the Big 10 next season after Nebraska arrives, Martinez has much better acceleration and can sustain his speed over a longer time than Robinson can, plus he's a bigger guy and therefore won't always be getting hurt like Robinson does.

I just watched some videos of him from this year and I see terrible mechanics and poor accuracy, so the arm strength under those circumstances is irrelevant. Second point: He is fast, but not out of this world fast, he looks a lot more impressive playing MAC and Big East teams than teams from the Big 10, and his rushing instincts are poor, he runs into defenders in the open field instead of away from them and he is undersized and injury-prone. Explain how that gets him an NFL QB gig?

In 4 of those games he didn't even have 1 20-yard gain on the ground. See my point? Also by year 2012 we will be in the national champion hunt. Robinson is a Soph and this is a quater back league thats why Rich ROd worked with Robinson and made him who he is today. That's funny because it is entirely factually inaccurate. michigan was ranked #2 in 2006 up until the very last game of the season against OSU where they lost to #1.... and almost got sent to the NC despite the loss.
In 1997 they won a NC... which was when a 25 year old was 12. I can remember it and I was 8. Michigan has been relevant up until RR came here and we will return.
