I wonder why they apparently couldn't make Skyward Sword like this... if you watch some swordplay videos of Skyward sword, you'll see a very sorry lag. For Wii Sports Resort, however, the sword matches perfectly the movements of the wii remote.

If this game came out first, why couldn't Nintendo do the same with The Legend Of Zelda? (I mean, it's THE Legend of Zelda, swordplay perfection SHOULD be a must!)

if anyone is searching for a trick how to win in swordplay then i invented one. first when the battle starts just keep using the sword as a shield then when your opponent raises his/her sword up quickly hit him and just keep doing that till you win.

You know, there is a way to hit them while they are blocking? Simply thrust the wii remote in the direction of the eney's blade, so if they are blocking, lets say, vertically, make a vertical strike, and it will hit them.
