Great, I'm boycotting Disney Channel until they come up with ORIGINAL ideas for amazing TV shows and movies. I'll also boycott Disney theme parks until they bring Captain EO back to Epcot (I know it's returning to Disneyland in CA, but Michael Jackson has fans on the east coast as well!

Fully agreed. Hannah Montana and the Jonas brothers have been extremely overated, and they cram it any place that kids would want to be at. Kindom Hearts I found to be enjoyable, Toy story I used to love as a kid, and Breaking Benjamin was great. Disney Channel is mainly why I dislike Disney now, and High School musical I ultimately dispise, cause you would problably have to be very rich to have a life like their characters did. It annoys me. But like I said, I fully agree with you.

and I miss old Disney Movies like Toy Story, I am glad they are making a new one. But one of my fav movies of all time was "The Road To El Dorado" (It was Disney-Pixar I believe, and that's why it was so good)

The only good stuff I like from Disney is Kingdom Hearts,Pixar and Pirates of The Caribbean. I fucking hate The Jonas Bros they destroyed great songs like Take On Me by A-ha and I can't stand Hanna Montana that show is horrible.

I think I recall hearing of some show from the 80s called "Gem" I think, which might be what you're thinking of Hannah Montanna being a rip off of.

And there actually is a band that Jonas Brothers literally ripped off. I think it was Busted. (They stole that year 3000 song and "That's what I go to school for" from them.)

I agree with Hollywood Records. Breaking Benjamin and Queen are the only bands I like that is hired by that company. I don't care HR are owned by Disney. I just care what sounds good to me.

You mentioned Millionaire - ABC *RUINED* that show by overexposing it just to get ratings. Had they used it sparingly it might still be on in prime-time today.

And, oddly, seems like ABC has a tough time cashing in on the DIsnet brand for kids - in fact like I said before it seems to go the other direction.

Disney XD: Supposedly, the flagship DC has become a "girl" channel because of HSM, Hannah, etc., so DXD is the boy counterpart. What I wantr to know is - why is DC ad free and DXD not?

All very well said. Especially the point about DC shows not being for kids. What you have to remember is, the same kiddult-minded people writing and putting out shows on DC are the same kiddult minded people writing prime time crap.

You mentioned ABC - truthfully, I think Disney's downfall started back when they merged in "96 - they got their foot in the door to mishmash Disney and adult stuff and market it all to the same demographic.

Aside from Bolt, the last few years of Disney period has been a load of crap.

I'm personally not into Disney Channel at all anymore. When Kim Possible ended, my time of watching that channel ended.

All they have done is turn the company into a 12 year old tween company that is only into a person or group that will only be popular for only a few years.
