  • A thinner tire of equal type, will get better traction. Just look at the orig jeeps from back in the day..

  • @mobb70 better traction I'm not really sure of. When driving on snow the 2 trains of thought are, tall thin tires or large aired down tires, its all about flotation. Since I run larger tires I normally air down for snow, that increases my footprint which helps support the weight of the jeep to prevent sinking down into the snow. Technology in offroad tires has come along was in the last 20 years. Not saying the old tires can't do it, just saying its easier with the new tires.

  • @BBTyrant I agree man...

  • @BBTyrant skinny will work better on that type of snow, more psi to less surface area = more traction

  • looked like fun

  • You turn the ESP off went you go OFF-Road

  • Just a trip to the store in eastern Kentucky.

  • @macman1138 lol nice

  • @sladjko28 Depends sometimes that esp is a nice little feature and sometimes I find myself turning it off.

  • Why such wide tires??

  • @Reverendjim1

    Why Not?!?!

  • @XX13urtonloverXX Because tire width or footprint should be worked out according to weight. I have had jeeps and a thinner taller tire with a strong sidewall will provide better traction in most conditions. In addition such a tire can be aired down to reveal a larger more mailable footprint than a wider tire that has been equally aired down. I find it funny that Americans fit their vehicles with excessively wide tires. On trails I have always outperformed others with these overly wide tires

  • @Reverendjim1 I've never seen a thinner tire aired down to the same psi as a wider tire make a larger footprint. I'm not sure what quality of offroad tire your used to, but the tires I run are extremely mailable when aired down.

  • @Reverendjim1 not in snow, if that were true we should sell our snowmobiles and run dirt bikes in 4 feet of snow... ever try it? thin is good for going through the snow when u can hit bottom, wider is better on floating on top of deep snow.... all depends on what terrain you're on... i do like skinny's in the mud better.

  • @rumswigger Well put.

  • why did you leave the hood unlatched/open?

  • @OfficerSheepDog My buddy forgot to latch the hood after tightening some header bolts that came loose on his aftermarket headers. :)

  • do you have to buy a relocation kit for ur muffler?

  • You don't have to, but allot of people like to move the muffler in which case u will need the relocation kit.

  • do u know how much it cost and where do they put the muffler?

  • You can buy the relocation kit from jeepswag . com
