Man comes in to the ER with a severe laceration and isn't insured. Society can send him away or treat him. It is immoral to not treat him, but if he doesn't pay then everyone else who uses the hospital and pays insurance pays for him in the form of higher rates. That is our current system. Universal healthcare fixes this issue. Everyone has to pay in just like everyone has to pay taxes for highways and schools even if they don't use them. It is called being a society.

From what I saw as solutions to the Great Depression they stalled the pain with the New Deal project that put lots of people to work and gave us infrastructure ready for progress. Experts say tearing a lot of stuff up and killing a lot of people increased demand and reduced unemployment. Hopefully they'll just forgive personal debt by lowering credit card rates and cleaning bad debt records to spur spending. Go and build poor countries is better than war solution or high national debt.

Man comes in to the ER with a severe laceration and isn't insured. Society can send him away or treat him. It is immoral to not treat him, but if he doesn't pay then everyone else who uses the hospital and pays insurance pays for him in the form of higher rates. That is our current system. Universal healthcare fixes this issue. Everyone has to pay in just like everyone has to pay taxes for highways and schools even if they don't use them. It is called being a society.

From what I saw as solutions to the Great Depression they stalled the pain with the New Deal project that put lots of people to work and gave us infrastructure ready for progress. Experts say tearing a lot of stuff up and killing a lot of people increased demand and reduced unemployment. Hopefully they'll just forgive personal debt by lowering credit card rates and cleaning bad debt records to spur spending. Go and build poor countries is better than war solution or high national debt.

Cool, I'm signed up Democrat but really independent. We have no perfect party. I dig the morality talk of Republicans but it comes to hypocrisy when you consider their entire platform. Your ideas mark you as seriously Republican leaning as my ideas mark me as Democrat leaning. Hopefully a new party will pop up that walk moral talking. For me, Democrat is the best I see. I don't see less government but more as the answer. Clue, poison peanut butter, H1N1, poverty, no national health care.

What you're really afraid of is that Democrats will be highly successful and win the heart of the public for a thousand years without ever conceding ever again to Republican rule. You'd be right to fear! There will never be another Republican to hold office in America if Obama gets it right. Hard to do with that big Republican elephant riding your butt all the way. Funny how we got you guys thinking we're jackasses just because of our mascot. Democrats are much smarter and more reliable.

You're against the government, national health care, the rich paying taxes fairly like with Reagan who you guys made a super star. You don't want every American to have the same health care you do. You don't mind our corrupt business people paying congress to outsource our jobs to slave labor which cause slave labor here. Who's the REAL TRAITOR?! Go ahead stand up or raise your hand. As to who I am. I'm a citizen of American who deserves health care just like you do. Thank God we live in a democracy that can vote needed changes into the system. I'd hate to depend on your generosity to give it to me. Makes no sense to put health care on a charity basis. Republicans usually don't make sense. Sometime you got it, sometimes you don't depending on the generosity of others. Sometimes you're dealing with a tight butt,selfish, nut. Sometimes you're not.

What you don't get is every American helps you get your money with the system established. The system is imperfect. That's why you have health care and others don't. The system is suppose to distribute the wealth so everyone benefits the basic needs. Look up Capitalism Born. You see it was suppose to produce full employment. That's not the only failing. When the system fails, modifications need to be made. This is the United States of America, not every man for himself America.

Free market system is a fallacy. It's managed to favor the rich by exploiting slave labor elsewhere which suppresses wages here. It's not the way up but the way down! It causes high unemployment, high crime, and shortages of tax revenues. There's nothing free about free market but the rich mans freedom to exploit Americans, leaving their basic needs unmet, fearing crime with no police protection, and without health care to name a few. America has become the land of greedy, selfish, fools!

The only true failure of capitalism is the spread of apathy amongst the people who have no drive to make a life for themselves. This apathy is brought on by social programs that rewards laziness with welfare and the like. Socialism isn't' the alternative to capitalism. Socialism is the FAILURE of capitalism

You never hear me trying to vie for socialism over capitalism. My position is a socio-capitalism for lack of a better term. That's what America is! There is no reason they can't live together in harmony. Pure socialism and pure capitalism are the same poison. Both are pure failures. You'll never see a purely capitalistic country last very long. War will break out! Thank God our leaders saw the role of social programs to avoid chaos and advance civilization. We need more social programs.

Wouldn't be such a debt if we tax the rich more! They're outsourcing our jobs and racking up huge profits. Our tax base is tied to those jobs. It's only fair.
