@IEKUKATAKA the film quality isn't very good, but I trained with Akiyama Sensei at MCAS Iwakuni for two years in the mid seventies, and it surely looks like him...I heard recently that Akiyama Sensei is in a hospice, and is not long for this earth. I will be saddened to hear of his passing.

I know little about Yahara as a person, but his karate is terrific. I never understood pull back arm in shotokan until i seen him in action...
