What you doubters are not considering is that the reverser can also see the patterns using the software, and while each speaker's voices, inflection, dialect etc. all contribute to how they enunciate in reverse, seeing the graph of the audio helps establish what the word is as patterns do tend to repeat for certain words.

Reverse Speech really isn't new. I first heard about it more than 10 years ago on Art Bell's Coast to Coast. I don't remember the guys name. Still this is not a perfect science. Just a nice way to see the inner workings of a persons mind, and the topic being discussed.

I took a dump earlier and about 2 inches of it stuck out of the water...PLUS the bottom part coiled a good 62 degree's. About 11.5% of it was of a lighter brown than the rest.

That's the reason that people who listen to a song genre usually think the same way, their actions are somewhat controlled. Backmasking songs is the term used for reversing it. It's something worth taking note of.
