I saw them 4 days before this gig at Glasgow's Barrowlands and its one of the best gigs I've ever been to. I was only 15 and shitting myself in the moshpit at the time. It was well woth it though. Its a shame, after their 2nd album I kinda lost interest in them. I wish they could recapture the energy they had in the early days. Get Pat Smear back for a start. He was by far the coolest in the band. Even just for that riff in Weenie Beenie. Lookin' forward to hearing Them crooked Vultures though.

If it's some bullshit.......ahhhh not going to be happy. Even dave grohl in an interview in (request mag?) said he was upset about one by one cause it only had a few good songs. What has he had to say about his other albums? Come on man! Make some good music again!

Best Foo line up. I was at this show and it was amazing, I went to a Brixton gig a year or two later during TCATS and I just felt really dissapointed.

for ANYONE saying they are more grunge than Nirvana....never!
This song does rock....I admit that. But given Nirvana's track record....almost EVERY album they put out hair a hair raising banger....NOT Foo Fighters! This album rocked out...I still keep it in heavy rotation for songs like Weenie Beenie, Watershed, I'll Stick Around....it's a classic album.
But when I bought The Color and the Shape? I gave up on them. They went commercial after that. At lease Nirvana went 3 before they did

I'm not comparing them at all just saying. I think this song is way more rocking then anything NIrvana ever did. I mean that grunt at 1.59 alone and the playing. This song is some heavy distorted heavy metal.

I saw them 4 days before this gig at Glasgow's Barrowlands and its one of the best gigs I've ever been to. I was only 15 and shitting myself in the moshpit at the time. It was well woth it though. Its a shame, after their 2nd album I kinda lost interest in them. I wish they could recapture the energy they had in the early days. Get Pat Smear back for a start. He was by far the coolest in the band. Even just for that riff in Weenie Beenie. Lookin' forward to hearing Them crooked Vultures though.

Okay, I'll settle this for you. Taylor Hawkins is so much better William Goldsmith. Taylor is amazing. He can even sing to go with it! I'm not saying William Goldsmith was bad, but compared to Taylor, he was terrible. Taylor can do anything, ever heard Cold Day in the Sun? Taylor sang that song, and it is real good.
