  • wow!!!!

  • I always thought this song was more suited for a woman to sing. Great version

  • This isn't the version I remember. I just listened to Buddy Holly and there identical, but Wanda has that country twang going for it besides that southern accent. I also enjoy listening to Wanda, I know her best for "Let's Have a Party" & "right or wrong". Let's Have a Party, will always remain my favorite by this female artist, there's no doubt about that!. Thx4 postin'

  • @Ezdduf4kuZ buddy's and this version are not identical, buddy's has the lyrics in the more origonal and familiar order, this version like waylon jennings version are chopped up, re organised and some are repeated

Buddies is for me the better version closely followed by chuck and i love the elvis jam of him trying to get his head around the lyrics

sure is a fun song to learn

  • @messylaura That's true. I miss the line: Way back in history three thounds years a whole lot of women shed theier tears about the bhm. or so, I don't know the exact order.

  • @Suva1987 check out this guy 'bhollytx' truely amazing

  • Originally by Chuck Berry, Wanda recorded it in 1961 x
