SOLUTION FOR GHOSTING : For delete ghosting, its simple. press 7 sec on menu touch en same on the touche power. a new spécial blue menu come, in the new menu, Choose OFF in OSD.. Sorry for my bad english, im french. IITS THE SOLUTION FOR THE GHOSTING
@criminologue Wow, very interesting! I spent hours and hours with ASUS on the phone, I wish they would have known this! Hope it works for others. How'd you figure it out?
@criminologue Yeah but disabling OD (it's OD for Overdrive, not OSD), doesn't save after you exit the menu. So if you turn of the monitor or switch inputs, Overdrive comes back on and I get ghosting again! ARGH!
I have this monitor and I do get some ghosting when I'm scrolling around the net,but I never get ghosting while playing games(bc2,moh,Crysis 2),which is why I bought this monitor.
@ozzy4pres When I bought it, it was near $250. And your right, you get what you pay for, but even cheaper monitors shouldn't suck that bad. I've bought several other models of theirs without issue. You should of seen it in gaming, it was HORRIBLE!
@sj702 hopefully this was just a one time case, i was thinking of getting this monitor, for my gaming setup, but might just go for a costlier samsung monitor. what do you recommend
@DuyAnh1 If you look around the lettering you can see white letter trailing. It was like the old mouse trailing you could turn on in older windows versions. There are other videos on youtube that show it better.

@BILLY1980ization GO TO MENU AND THEN IMAGE AND SET THE TRACE FREE TO 60 AND NO MORE GHOSTING.

I wouldn't call that major ghosting.. I'm using a pretty old LG Flatron 225WS, and that has the same amount of ghosting.
It's not really something I'm surprised about.
mrisump 4 months ago
@mrisump It was much more evident in gaming, I should have recorded that.

Dude, the monitor is under 200, for HD, Led, and almost 24 inch. You get what you pay for.

It was really bad, especially in gaming.

@sj702 yeah I would have kept it, if it weren't for the gaming issues
