  • The racing part wasn't too impressive. It's no more advanced that what an N64 could do in 1996.

  • But Nintendo 64 had more recent/newer technology than orginal Amiga 1200 had.

    N64: custom R3000-processor. Orginal R3000 was released in 1991.

Co-Processor(for GFX and Sound) was released with the N64 in 1996.

    Amiga 1200: 68030-processor released in 1983.

Advanced Graphics Architecture released in 1992.

So Amiga could keep up with N64 at the time with older hardware so I think that was really impressive.

  • 030 in 1983? I doubt that :) anyway, harleykman's comment is typical for someone from out of the amiga/demo scene. I bet he compares his n64 with c64 demos from 1996 aswell. totally pointless! but no offense.

  • You are right, mayby I mixed it up with 68020 (1984).

030 was released in 1987 but still old(and still good).

  • Just for Reference the 68000 came out in 1979!! So my A2000 is 30 years old CPU wise and it is still more Robust than my 2GHZ P4 w/1Gram (I know, blame it on the OS...)

  • This runs off a 030? I quite doubt that to be honest. For 040 this is good, for 060 pretty meh.

  • AMIGA ? yes... the best computer ever made.

  • Great and fast engine!

    Cool graphics pixelled by Zaac!

    The wipe-out part is awesome!
