try 2 think how U would feel if U were the kitten instead. maybe U have similar memories from Ur childhood? maybe U know a baby,just a week old & U can understand what the baby would feel?this could help 2understand
@sns21274 especially in this situation, it would have been better if the owner had considered the kitten's needs: it needs comfort & closeness/warmth of its mother. the owner should have taken this role instead of leaving the kitten uncovered & alone.
thus from the kitten's point of view, the whole situation is not cute but probably hard to bear. it is only cute when it is looked at it with an anthropomorphic view. people need to try to not fall in this trap.

Maybe it is stressful for the kitten being in this position, but I'm pretty sure being abandon in the cold with no food is worse. Plus, babies are resillent, and usually able to forget and get over traumatic events. The kitten when it's older looks happy enough, running over to it's own and playing with other cats, doesn't look this did any lasting damage. You're just way too sensitive.
@nuurrie your reasoning & imagining how this kitty will be in the future does not justify a missing understanding or ignoring of the needs of this kitten, & what one knows from science how to raise them.
