  • I loved the first Heron album when it was originally released and tried to play many of the tunes. The songs were a big part of my youth and still conjure up memories of idyllic summers and teenage friendships that continue to this very day. Lord and Master is probably my favourite.

  • Golliwogg APPROVES of this song.

  • Wow I always wondered why Bill Boazman wasnt more acclaimed. I have very fond memories of seeing play virtuoso guitar at Uxbridge Folk Club back in the early 70's

Hi. I remember the gig at Uxbridge very well as I was playing with Bill. It was a great night!

Bill was a friend of the guys in Heron but was NOT a member of the band. He did sing a verse on one song (John Brown) that was on their 'Twice as Nice & Half the Price' album recorded in the open air in the west country.

He is still performing using the name 'Sonny Black' and is almost entirely devoted to blues.

Email me at howardfullbrook@hotmail.co.uk for more info.

    Regards,

    Howard

  • I can´t find words to describe it... this is such a beautiful and magic song. It's just perfect, indeed!
