  • Beef? Realy? From a Cow.

  • Dry hair's for squids.

  • 'jack deth' is there a more badass name?

  • listen Hap thats my name u gotta trust me thats my name. wait you're tellin me you're name is JACK DETH?!.... thats a stupid name

  • Love this bit: "JACK DETH IS BACK. AND HE'S NEVER EVEN BEEN HERE BEFORE". Legendary!

  • Is it better than Blade Runner?

  • @davko79 hell ya storywise it is just blade runner has more in your face special effects but who cares i dont watch a movie just to look at pictures and nice effects i watch it for the story

  • Oh fuck this movie is so damn classic. That black lady in the diner scared the shit out of me when I was a kid but now I laugh my ass off when I see her.

  • cool story bro

  • leelee sobieski looks alot like Helen Hunt

  • @nastyGriffin haha ya especially when u see helen hunt really young like in the trancers series theyre like sisters

  • This film had way more heart than budget, but don't hold that against it! One of my all-time favorite Tim Thomerson flicks...and most definitely my favorite Helen Hunt movie.

  • @indigoshift this movie has heart, imagination, and a haunting sense of mystery. this is one of the closest B movies ever got to art.

  • I guess I just attract a certain element no matter what century im in.....

    hahahahahahah

  • An incredibly low budget, shockingly poor DVD transfer (looks like they used a worn out laserdisc copy), 80's B-Movie scifi.....however...

Its f*%&ing cool, got atmosphere, well acted....and got great synth music.

If you fancy a night in with the misses, wanna get the popcorn out and have a laugh....then I'd recommend this film. For £4 on Amazon....you can't go wrong.

There is something about these lowfi 80's films which ooze charm. Just goes to show you dont need $millions....

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS ya i know what u mean but the way it looks kind of adds to the atmosphere of it being a wicked retro movie. hell Grindhouse added that shit in to make it look more like grainy like this

  • I really enjoyed all 6 Trancers movies. :+]

  • I still have this on VHS! Jack Deth is Rorschach with people skills. XD

  • Jack Deth is back.... and he's never even been here before.

    *dies of cheesy awesomeness*

  • @Chloe835 I saw one trailer where they were like "and he's trying to get 'back to the future' " It used to be on the Full Moon Ent. (The company that made this) page but its gone now...

  • SHOULDERPADS!!!

  • Back in The VHS days there was always some b-movie woth renting.

  • One hundred times better than Blade Runner! Starring: Jack Mehoff.

  • "i guess I attract certain attention no matter what century im in.....i gotta run now"

  • The Matrix ripped these movies off

  • @5tonyvvvv

Yeah and this movie obviously was highly original.

  • For anyone interested, this movie (and part 2) are streaming on Netflix.

  • My dad's cousin Phil Davis wrote the music score for this film :D it always tickles me to watch the vids of it on here lol! awesome film :D

  • @Razorweight REALLY??? I was able to find a download off Rapidshare of the score (I wish they would have released it). I just LOVE the synth, it was a really good use it. I actually did some title music in the spirit of the Los Angeles track for my wife on her channel (donottakeitseriously). I actually put it on my ps3 and found that the soundtrack works really well for music during gameplay.

  • @sgtpepper1138 yea he says no-one realised it'd become such a cult film lol! i'll have to tell him about that when he next comes to visit! :D awesome i'm so glad you liked it so much to d/l it lol!

oh i should also say it wasn't solely written by him, his work partner at the time ( who's name doesn't come to mind!!!) composed it too. faux pas on my part with the last comment :) i think his name was Matt something....

  • @Razorweight Haha, that's great. My brother was an extra in part 2 oddly enough. It was funny because I was 5 when it came out, and I was a fan ever since I can remember and my brother was living in California (we moved from SoCal to Oregon in 89) and he called us up and said that he was an extra in Trancers 2 and I thought that was so cool because we were fans of the first one.

  • might havta check this out

  • My POINT was, that a movie that had a 400,000.00 budget has a better story, and more charm than a big budget (200 millon) movie. I never said there weren't any good ones, I'm just saying that a film like Trancers being BETTER than a film like Transformers 2 just shouldn't BE, but it is. IMHO

  • @sgtpepper1138 im glad thats ur opinion and not mine lol

  • wal mart has a trilogy pack for $5

  • 47 seconds into this trailer, I realized I remember absolutely nothing about it and now I'm going to watch it again.

  • I've never seen this movie before but the trailer has made me interested in watching it. The music sounds like the usual 80s synth stuff though. I would definetly call this a cult movie.

  • weird...

  • Great soundtrack.

  • i love the way the show futuristic 80's clothes in the future, yet the movie in set in 1985. lol

  • streaming on netflix

  • More people should be named Jack Death.

  • "Jack Death is back..... and he's never even been here before" WTF? HAHAHAHHA!!!!

  • @333Paradigm333 yea thats what i thought what did that mean lol?

  • I love this movie! Someone please tell me why he has a helmet on the cover of all the VHS and DVD releases of this? Jack Deth doesn't wear helmets in the movie, because he's JACK FUCKIN DETH!

  • Wet hair for squids

  • "How's my tan?"

    Classic!

    This movie kicks ass!

  • "Jack Death is back...and he's never even been here before" = SOLD

  • @delbermo LOL i want to see this now too

  • this looks so bad that its good, i might check it out

  • B movies should be like this again....

  • @0n3m4n4rm33 Yeah, I know.

  • Un film di serie B che xò ha ottenuto un grandissimo successo.

    Interessante.

  • this is a awsome B movie

  • Most memorable sci-fi of the 80's!!!!

To me better than the terminator!!!!!!!

  • This movie rawks!!!

  • Tim looks way better in gray...

  • I loved that movie....

  • FUCKING REPTILIANS

  • Richard Herd gets Two Thumbs Up for one of the best American Actors.

  • I've so got to see Trancers

  • Fuckin best movie ever (one thru three anyway) before helen hunt was famous. Can't wait to see it again...

  • it's really a great movie, yeah it's a low budget sci fi movie, but it really has a good story and acting (most of them). it's pretty sad when I can throughly enjoy this (heck even my parents sat down and watched it when I was visiting them) way more than the crap (*cough* Transformers 2)they put out today.

  • @sgtpepper1138 Yeah, compare this to the worst possible modern sci-fi movie you can think of. That's really fair.

There are plenty of amazing modern sci-fi movies.

  • VHS classic, well its a pretty good B movie..

  • Tim Thomerson's debut? Are you sure you don't mean his debut as a leading man? I have one movie in particular ("Fade To Black", 1980) that had him in a supporting role at least five years prior.

  • I think they means Thomerson's debut as the character Jack Deth, he comes back for so many sequels (4 or 5, I think?)

  • Just watched this movie last night for like the 50th time. Still love it. Another good sci-fi B movie is "Crash and Burn". Best part is when they resurrect the DV-8 robot. Check it out.

  • A personal favorite!

  • "Jack..."

  • GREAT MOVIE

  • Some friends of mine and I used to love to watch this movie just to make fun of it. It would be great for MST3K/RiffTrax!

  • Jack Deth is back, and he's never even been here before. HAH! I am soo Netflixing this one!

  • I saw this in a theater back then under the title Future Cop!

  • What a sci-fi movie ever

  • I met Tim Thomerson and Bruce Campbell,One of the best days of my life.

  • A wonderful B-movie. Not if only it had a decent DVD!!!

  • i remember this film although its not exactly blade runner i enjoyed it and thought it had quite a good story

  • i loved these movies even if it was a low budget film jack deths awesome

  • gawd this proves im a film geek LOL I LOVE IT

  • Jesus! Talk about Memory lane!!!!

Blastage from the low budget-post Terminator past.

  • yeah, low budget, but one of the better B grade sci-fi movies from the 80's, I still dust off my old VHS copy about once a year and watch it,I'd like to get it on DVD

  • by the way, the dvd is only a bad transver from a laserdisc. i have it.

  • I love this campy, low budget flick from the 80's! Helen Hunt was cool as "Lena". I've seen all of the Trancers movies.

  • H3Babe: Wait, you mean there is more than one?! Suhweet!
