  • love those korean traditional musical instruments!

  • 아아 저리 구성진 가락을 앞에 두고 카메라니 머니 만지작 거린다는 것이 가당키나 한것인가

    무지가 한폭 그림을 깨는구나 아아...

  • Hi~Welcome to Jeonju city. KOREA

  • 속닥속닥 거리는 거랑 카메라 소리 때메 분위기 완전 껜다...

  • wow.... the beginning was pretty boring xP

    oh well :)

  • wtf

    turn off your phone.

  • it's not phones, it's the noises on digital cameras - people are too stupid to turn off the sounds the camera makes.

  • Sometimes they can't. DSLRs have real shutters.

  • yeah, I know... but DSLR shutters don't sound dumb like those point and shoot digital shutter noises... a lot of the noise in the video was some people scrolling through their pictures, making an annoying beep every time they touch the button.

  • @robotom

even on point'n'shoot cameras there's always a "sound off" button !!!

...but unfortunately there's no "stupidity off" button on some people ahahahaha

  • GOOD~~~~~~~~~~~

  • Oh oops, thank you!

  • Kayagum at its best here, not trying to play all kinds of western and classical junk. Pure expression of the instrument as it is meant to sound. Why not be proud of your own heritage. This kind of music is SO much more inspiring and causes the imaginations to heighten so much more! Atleast for me I CAN'T speak for anyone else.

    Vi An.

  • this one is Geomungo, not Gayageum - but still I completely agree with your opinion ^^ thanks for sharing

  • good to hear they are still teaching those classes for foreigners. i did a few classes there in 2002-3 and eventually signed on as a student for a while in 2004.

    wonderful place and music.

  • cool, what did you learn?

  • in the free classes i learned kayageum. as a student i learnt geomungo for a while. it was very difficult as the classes were all in korean.

  • I think a private lesson with geomungo would be easier... then you can go at your own pace - that's what I do with gayageum, and now I go back to the gugakwon english classes just for extra teacher-supervised practice... I admire your effort though - gayageum, geomungo, and yanggeum are the 3 korean instruments I want to learn... at least I'm learning 1 of the 3.

  • people were so fucking rude there.. they should have turned off their cell phones. grr .. Korean people need to learn that..

  • in this case it was a congratulations concert for foreigners learning korean instruments (this performance was a professional korean though), so the audience was mostly western people too clueless how to turn off the sounds on their digital cameras... in this concert cameras and video were allowed - normally NCKTPA does not allow it.

  • @pranhu korean people need to learn that? how about these rude ass americans who are on their phones 24/7?

  • wonderfullll
