@barryAmsterdam I am assuming from your name you're from Holland (Netherlands.) As you can see, this show is filmed in America. After being caught, these criminals are brought to court. In the judicial system, a person (defendant) pleads either guilty, saying that he/she committed the crime, or not guilty, saying that he/she did NOT commit a crime. Basically, it's just a person saying they did not commit any crime.
