That sounds like the most braindead thing I've ever seen someone get penalized that heavily for. And I LIKE this clip. You play pretty well in both of your videos. :D Looking forward to more of your songs.
@deepshockonYT I say this, and I myself am interested in (more subdued) dancing/movement while playing the accordion once I get better at playing it in general. It's still a crap thing to be massively docked for, but then again I'm an amateur so maybe there's something I don't get.
I always loughed about those accordionists performing on stage - laughing, dancing, singing, jumping and PLAYING the accordion at the same time (knowing for sure, they were not playing at all for real but a good backup played at the same time). YOU are the opposit ! YOU did that for real ! Great and funny performance. I am sure we will see and hear your superb playing in a while - the one, that shows your "real" playing. 10********* for this.
I've just seen you are about to appear at the Rome Roland 2009 festival - put together the verve and musicianship together with pushing the exciting "non-conventional" elements of the Roland V and go for it! As a Roland V owner and rather basic player(!) I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with. Wish you well.
Those judges may have been harsh, but wise. Perhaps they could see a lively lass hidden behind her talent.
Some accordionists LOOK so dull that even their fine musicianship SOUNDS dull.
I think you were enjoying that - so were your family.
Seeing you enjoying yourself added to my enjoyment of listening to a wonderful player. It turned a pleasurable but less than memorable listening moment into a memorable entertainment. Thank-you. 5 stars & I'll subscribe 2u in the hope of more. Good luck
Sorry, i posted that last comment before I read your blurb about the video....Thank goodness you weren't serious about the "competition performance moves"....Ha!
haha thanks!! And yes that's the goal, to spread the cheer of the accordion. =) I'm hoping to post some videos of me actually playing that won't be so goofy. And thanks, I'm getting excited!
You are hilarious so I gave you 5 stars! Hopefully this video will be widely viewed to help the world understand the seriousness of accordion players. I'm anxious to hear your more sublime playing. I'll be watching for your body movement. Good luck in Rome.
