The way he touches the ball is such that the upper part spins towards the direction the ball is going and the down part to the other direction, which is the contrary of the way the ball usualy spins. Sometimes it balances in a way that it doesn't spin at all. That makes the ball much faster and falling suddenly. That's way in many goals it looks like it was the goalkeeper fault. It wasn't the ball went in a different trajectory.
