so how was goku stronger than vegeta at this point, cause trunks said there was a limit on how strong an ascended SSJ could be (without losing speed). Also, vegeta was stronger than goku was when he started training in the hyperbolic time chamber, and trunks would have been a better training partner, because he could already go SSJ. Also, isn't SSJ a 50x boost while SSJ2 is 100x, so wouldn't super vegeta be stronger than SSJ2 gohan, because vegeta's base power is much more than 2x gohan's

@masterspacepirate actually, ss vegeta was never stronger than ss goku. goku had been a ss for over 3 years when the androids came, and his heart weakened him. also, remember that a recovery from near death increases a saiyans power greatly. Goku recovered from his heart attack, so his power had to grow a lot. and with gohan, i think his normal power can also be greater than vegeta if he was mad, so ss2 gohan can destroy ss vegeta.

Vegeta, was only stronger than Goku, when Vegeta had recently gone in, and Goku and Gohan hadn't gone in... (but then they trained and things got back to normal). You are getting the message... Ultra saiyan is nothing compared to ssj2 (all bulk, no speed, while ssj2 is both speed and strength). At this point nobody stands a chance against Gohan
