We will sell modric for silly money, Levy wants the cash. In this sad state of economic turmoil I can't blame him however if we get 35+ million for Modric. Who will replace him? surely we need someone proven in the premier league. I see Barton and Parker as immediate possibilities. That being said even Barton on a free makes me think, "is he worth the headache?" Then looking to Parker, he will do well, but for 8 million? The overpaying for local talent must end!

For me would like to get in bring in P. Merieles, and Lukaku to Chelsea. I guess because i think these are realistic and will improve the squad. I could see kenny letting Merieles leave as he seems keen on British players and as for Lukaku I think Chelsea should get him he can play on the wing and unlike most people i think Lukaku wont threaten Sturridge as within the next year or so Drigba and Anelka will be moved on so I don't think Chelsea should wait until then to find there successors
