He's what we call "free radical". Someone who is discontented with the teaching of bible tries to make up some explanation of his own. But his dissertation deviates so much from the Christianity dogma, soon or later, he will be regarded as heretic.
More people need to understand that being saved is a gift from God- not because of being a good person.
