omg you are AMAZING!!!!!! the best boy i've ever heard sing for aladdin! im playing aladdin in our production and im a girl... im like the only girl who's ever played aladdin >.< any tips you can give me for putting on a great show? :) thanks and WONDERFUL job!
Hey this is Jasmine in the video. Ben is right...we were young and bad (kinda) lol! But to see me sing alone, type in Beloit Riverfest Idol, and click on Contestant28.
Ben, you should post a video of u singing alone!! :-)
Broadway Jr. states that nobody older than someone in the 9th grade is to perform in their shows without written permission. These shows are written for the middle school child. Secondly, you kids did a great job in the play. I'm directing this at my school this year and I'm planning on showing this to them for inspiration. Don't let some ignorant people make you feel any less proud of your accomplishment!

when a show is JR... it doesn't mean that kids should be performing it. it means that teens and adults should be performing it for the kids. aladdin is a guy, and he isn't supposed to sound like jasmine when he sings. at least pick a guy who's hit puberty.
Nonody had hit puberty n the cast... There were 4 guys and I, the guy who played Aladdin, was the only boy who can sing. The cast was only for kids age 6-12. And I didnt sound like Jasmine, thank you very much.

No. Jr. plays can have children in the cast. When I was in 8th grade last year, I was in a production of Honk! Jr. The cast was made up of kids from grade 6-8.

Personally I think Jasmine could use a little more practice. You can't hear her and in some spots where you can she is a little pitchy. As my friend, Simon Cowell, would say"Jasmine should get her money back and not quit her day job. "STAY IN SCHOOL, JASMINE!!!!!
yeah, Critically speaking, I'd like to know, have you auditioned for America's Got Talent and gotten called back? because this girl who plays Jasmine has. She is AMAZING! She is an awesome singer. you would have to come see her live to get the full affect! so to do that, come see Bugsy Malone on May 16th at the 118 Center in Rockford,Illinios. She is in the red cast and is the lead girl role, Blousey Brown.
there were wires attached to each of the corners of the carpet and the narrators were off to the side waving them up and down and making the carpet move
my sister taped videos but we had to delete them so we could tape most of this... so i dont really have anymore videos...we are doing bugsy malone next so we will post videos of those performances if possible...
WOW i never heard a boy sing like that!(other then all the other stars and there fake voices)...THAT WAS GREAT! im going to be in this play....i really hope i get the genie....wish me luck!
Ben, you've got such a wonderful voice--very strong & powerful. Taylor did a fine job too. I hope to see you on Broadway someday. Best wishes, Lisa from Chicago
I saw the red cast on Saturday and this one on Sunday. I thought this one was the best, the Genie was great! But Jasmine was also the best one. Her singing was beutiful! But her acting was great! you did good in both Ben!
Hey, THANKS! I'm glad you enjoyed the show! I am in the Red Cast, but the Purple Cast (This one) didn't have an Aladdin, so I had to fill in. I liked performing w/ both casts, but my favorite cast was the Red Cast, since my sis and cousins were in it, but I like and dislike certain things about each cast. Thanks for commenting, and I'm glad you enjoyed it! Also, just wondering, who are you? I was just wondering if it was anyone I knew, but THANKS AGAIN!

No, JR plays at my theater are for actors ages 7-17. We just got done with Willy Wonka jr (I was Violet) and we had a 17 year old Grandpa Joe.
