  • @johnnyborealis Photoshop is not for free, it costs over 400$ and also to have quality you will need other software that cost as well as 50$. Also if you use Photoshop instead of work with the film you will never learn to shoot correct photos, because your shots will suck until you process with PS. I think everyone has to try the film and master the film techniques before only even think to use computer software and digital cameras. Just my opininon by the way :)

  • @datohmeit I agree with you to an extent. Film has that nostalgic kinda feel to it. I personally started with digital and photoshop and moved to film. I've found the most important parts of photography to be framing and creativity. photoshop just enhances creativity. This film is incredibly pricey although. I'd recommend newcomers to try some toy cameras and roll film. Much cheaper option for creative shots.

  • i hope they bring a colored 600film next year..

  • please support "the-impossible-project" :)

  • You guys need to realize how much the original 600 film is right now. A pack on Amazon is roughly around $60 so I wish a lot of you would stop complaining about Impossible's prices. Try it out, and see if you get your money's worth. If not, then at least you now know. It's what I'm about to do. It's better than paying $150 for 3 packs.

  • I have 3 in need of film :) 2 of them are One Steps, so they both require the same type.

I may try and buy some of this film when I get a little more money saved up :)

  • I want to use it i want to use it!!!!!!!! please lower the price of shipping in uruguay!!!!!!

  • Its nice what they're doing but the new Polaroids are EXPENSIVE i mean did you check their website?!!!!

I wish i could get one but with this recession i think ill get a old used one.

  • THANK GOODNESS! i just got a polaroid 600 camera for Christmas and my film ran out. this is a miracle, thank you guysss!!! :DDD

  • I don't think impossible project is more than a money scammer. Just do the math. I have to pay roughly 25 dollars a pack of film that only contain 8 shots. Who wants to fall into their trap?

  • @roaming2 You are right my friend, plus $11 dollars shipping.

  • I want to invest $300 U.S dollars for stock in the new company!

  • the Polapremium website doesnt work?

  • YES

  • Yay !!! :)

  • The market is there if it was't so damn expensive.

  • @therocketman0123 it's pretty damn expensive to make. :P

  • @zomgitsnolan True, but I can't convince myself to pay 2 dollars a shot :(

  • @therocketman0123 my photography teacher gave me 4 packs of 600, i've used three but idk if i should save the last one or shoot it.. :P

  • lucky! i would use it, but use it sparingly. maybe save it for hanging with people or something unique

  • also i find it ironic that an old polaroid costs about $20, and yet film costs $20 lol

  • Man, does anybody know if the newer black and white or even color film will work with the third model of the SX-70 ? And yes, there hasn't been anymore news on either polaroid's new camera or the impossible project, and we are in 2010...

  • wasnt some sx70 film like $15 before they went off shelves? i dont remember it being $25. soooo, I would really like to know how much this new film is going to cost. if anyone has any info...

  • does anyone know whats going on now ? The Impossible Project site is not up anymore. I was there in early December last year and they said they were going to start selling film in February this year. SO where is it? I know they can produce it , i seen the video of the machines making it.

  • :) i hope they suceed making the films!!

i just found my one600 and i really want to use it!!! i only have 7 films left :(

  • they're making them right now

  • SX 70 film was apparently $6.90 per pack in 1972, which is equivalent to around $35 in today's money.

Polapremium is charging around $29 for their SX 70 film.

  • While the leftover film may seem expensive, if you look at the original 1972 prices, and update these in line with inflation over the last 38 years - it don't seem expensive.

    Dan

  • i hope the price would be lower than what the current leftover polaroid films.. ridiculous to pay so much for a single pack

  • this is awesome! i can't wait to get some 600 film. polaroids forever (:

  • yearghhhhhhhhhh long live polaroid film

  • BTW w would they still have the vintage look to it? Or the picture is just gonna look like a normal digital picture?

  • They try to recreate the original vintage look.

  • WAIT WAIT SOME ANSWER! Are they gonna resell the polariod cameras too? Or just the film i dont have a film polariod so please help i very want one!!??

  • will this film work with cameras that take 600 film?

  • yay!!! i cannot wait to get my hands on some 600 film! I just got a Polaroid Supercolor 635CL and I want to use it :]

  • i lalalaloooove POLAROID! :D

can i ask if the polaroid films development will continue forever or will it be for 2010 only and then they'll stop again?

  • forever if everyone supports us! :-)

  • omg!!! really? yay! i looove this news! :D

    save the polaroid movement! :D

    go analog! :)

  • Love it Love it Love it... I am so HAPPY!!!! WOW, I cant wait..

  • btw the film for the SX 70 is in 24$ US dllrs !!! :S

  • better than roughly $35 - $40/pack for the original sx-70 film on ebay. *nods*

  • My SX-70 Still works!! OMG This is the best news I have heard today!

  • Polaroids should live on forever!

  • amen man !
