i have this knife, and i love it, its one of my favorite i carry.. i do agree, that the clip is a bit wide, and big.. i also have the cyclone, shallot... i wish kershaw would use more VG-10 steel...
Get a genuine one from Tim Galyean. They are horribly expensive, but worth the money as they are Sebenza level quality with much better ergos than a Sebenza.
I happened to pick this one up a couple weeks ago from a Snap-On dealer. I got home and started REALLY looking at it, I turn the blade over and it's stamped First production, 1 of 500. Now I have this awesome knife that I don't want to use!
Another great knife and review Blaze, It would be cool if they gave ya the option of thumb studs as well though. But overall thats a beast of a knife,I kinda dig the smaller version because of the Frame Lock as well.
the dates on the knives are usually at least 1 year old because of shipping and selling the product i just got a kershaw knife and its march 09 on the blade
Cool knife. I've been contemplating picking one of these up for awhile. If you don't like the clip, check out STR clips off of bladeforums. I believe he makes a deep carry clip for this knife.
mine is rusting.so its not stanles
multisnipermaster 5 months ago
@multisnipermaster stailess doesnt mean it cant rust. it mean it doesnt rust as easily as carbon or tool steels pal.

I like how your reviews are professional, but you still are prone to poke fun at yourself, you're great. XD

@platinum0188 This one opens really easy, not MUCH wrist action needed.

Don't care for the pocket clip. I like the knife, it sets on my desk.
thecajunblaze 2 years ago
I see most kershaw knifes have the date on them. Is there a reason that some don't.
allmotor91 2 years ago
Definitely a great collaboration knife! Tim's designs are incredible... I think this one looks pretty true to his original... good stuff ;)

I really like the blade on the JYD II. Pocket clip, that's another story.
thecajunblaze 2 years ago
Cool knife, looks like a sweet flipper. But man that is the ugliest pocket clip I've ever seen.

That's one of the reasons I don't carry it as much.
