in my opinion, they were the greatest female group ever. As much as I appreciate what Diana and her girls did to bring the "girl group" concept to the forefront, LABELLE, is / was the exaggerated-steroid version of the Supremes. What they were able to do vocally was just unheard of, with Patti leading the way....they were awesome. I heard that Lenny Kravits was prodicing an album with labelle reunited.
