I would really like to see you try to make those "shapeless sacks", you described, because with chiffon, shantung or even jersey is hard to get the right shape on the body.... plus adding appliques and feathers, you are in for months of work.... before you make a comment, realize and appreciate the work thats done, esp. in Lanvin.

@FelixCulpa81 well it's not as easy as you think....actually what i found out is that it's harder to capture the puckers/creases of what you referred to as a "sack" as opposed to finely cut garments....like suits and etc...but there is a technique that is used...anyway i can understand why you might not like Alber's taste...but oh well

i would love to see lanvin go back to its routes of being a haute couture house alber does a great job with the ready-to-wear collection so could you imagine the haute couture collection !

alber is amazing how her works the fabric and lately people want luxury for their money and he gives that 100% every-time

I agree. But I kinda like Lanvin as Ready-to-Wear because it is just so the crem de la crem of Ready-to-Wear, couture quality persay. But if it did Haute Couture I don't think it would be as magical.
