  • What brand & color is your nail polish in this video? It's super pretty!

  • @LooseEndsTiedInKnots Oh that was China Glaze - Heli-Yum ... and yes it is super yummy! :D

  • Great video! I'm glad I found your blog and videos before I go out and buy a nail file (or 2). You have such gorgeous nails! I hope I can get mine to look half as nice. I'm going to buy some Dermanail this week, just trying to see if a local pharmacy can order it before I order it online. Thanks for taking the time to educate us and I look forward to your next video! =) Have a great week!

  • @LacquerandLeather Girl, give your nails some time, love, and moisture and they will be fantastic!

  • Thank you so much for this video. I have been searching for a video like this but I counldn't find one to explain the filing for glass files!

  • @ilovemylongnails :D Thanks love! So glad you like it!

  • Awesome video loodie! I have a question though. Is there a difference between glass and crystal files? Because I had just seen a video saying glass files are bad as they wear down and have a sprayed on grit (Sephora) and true crystal files are etched from a single piece of crystal and will last forever(Essie) and crystal is obviously better for the nails...

  • @TheVanityChest That's a tough question. Traditional "glass" is SiO2 (silicon dioxide), while "crystal" usually contains other elements including lead. I am not sure how nail files fit into this or if quality is affected. But, I agree, like you mention, there is a difference in quality with generic vs. some brand names. My experience has been 'Made in China' is worse than 'Made in Czech Republic' and a like. The more transparent they are the finer more lasting the grit.

  • Another great video with lots of advice. Thanks!

  • I love watching your videos and reading your blog! You give such great information. I have horrible nails and your such a great resource for good nails. Yours are lovely. Hope your well. Thanks again!
