@Josesuarezjs because you can miss the Gallis hit and you don't want to do that. You want to assure your Xyz play.

The discard loop is not a wind-up deck, it's just a deck with wind ups. If you are looking at a true wind-up deck, it is completely control oriented. Combo-ing wind-up rabbit with wind-up kitten can completely dominate your opponents field. The fact that rabbit is a return effect and not a special summon also makes things busted. You can also main deck d-fissure if you're going xyz heavy since the materials go to the grave (allowing the hand discard loop or OTK).

@AlphaErix I wish context could more easily be seen in text. Please note that my comment was not trying to sound rude. I just want to suggest that if you haven't tried a pure wind up build, to try it. It is completely different than the TGU/Instant Fusion/Spell Striker build and I've found it much more consistent.

ice barrier combos if you play it right can be pretty good so far but not top noticeable =3

The Wind-Up combo is:

Tourguide into Sangan ---> Exceed into Zenmaighty

Detach to get Wind-Up Hunter; Hunter's effect to pop the first Zenmaighty

Instant Fusion for a 3* fusion. Exceed with hunter for another Zenmaighty.

Detach Hunter to get Rat (Insert loop here)
