The books included in the modern bible were decided upon at the council of Nicea in 325, instigated by the first holy roman emperor, Constantine. 1800 bishops attended but none were from Britain, which at that time boasted the first Christian church, at Glastonbury. The councils purpose was to standardise christianity for romans, who had worshipped the sun until now. It decided to exclude many important books from the bible as well changing the sabbath day to sun-day to honour the roman sun god.
very well said but just one thing does not make sense to me. sun-day, translated to latin would be something along the lines as sole dominus. excuse me that i am not versed in latin, however Sunday in latin is something like Domenicus, nothing even close to sun-day.

Well you say it's not in our Bible but at the same time they chose the books to include for the cannon. All though about 50 other gospels were not included they still can serve as a historical record. Some were written before the books in the New Testament. It's easy to show the side you want to show if you have full power on the books chosen (to reflect the view you want to cast upon world.)Therefore it is possible they made it appear that she wasn't cast out or rumored upon.Not saying its TRUE
