I think you "touched" upon an important point when you were struck twice in the same point and the INCREDIBLE pain associated with it! I just found your channel tonight and definitely have subscribed! Please check out my channel and hopefully we can be friends! If you are in New England, Please let me know so you can be on my TV show!
the way you disarm the knife with your wrist im a little worried about using that move since i dont have much strength in punching im scared that i might not hit him hard enough to loosen the grip on the knife any tips to increase my power to punch? i watch a videos were you said using body weight to increase power anymore tips? like proper work out?
just want your thoughts, luke, but at 1:45, isn't it bad form for your demonstrating student to grab your wrist with the blade to the inside of his forearm?
@Hrairoo53 yeah, I guess so.. he was probably focusing on what I was saying instead of what he was doing..
He bounced with my and has also worked some protection assignments in Tokyo with me.. this is probably his 3rd lesson.. Biggest guy there with the least amount of training.. best to demonstrate on because then he doesn't know what's coming..
I know you hear this a lot bro but I truly respect your knowledge and ways of teaching. I've been in martial arts for over 20yrs and you are the real deal sir. Thanks for sharing your wisdom.
would you consider making a video that would focus on the first move against knife attacks from different angles? the evasion is the key part which can be followed with many other combinations...
Looks awesome but what martial art r u using to disarm the guy?
