@tulisnamakamu you gotta use your brain in every sport. in american football you have to read defenses and adjust plays then read how the defense reacts to the play and how you need to react to it. on defense a linebacker has to read the play in less than half of a second and react to it immediately. watch them during a game and tell me they dont use their brains. football is one of the most mind based sports there is. you probably have never played or watched it have you?
Don't forget to mention that in Basketball you watch the game for 3 hours for 48 minutes of gameplay, plenty of commercials for the people with ADD. And yeah all the scoring and still 9 out of 10 games end in a score difference of 1 or 2 points. Most basketball games can be watched for the last 2 minutes, 3 minutes if playoffs, and not really miss anything. You can hate, but 24.3 million people watched the world cup final game in the US. Compared to 7 games average NBA finals of 18.1 million.

@tulisnamakamu you gotta use your brain in every sport. in american football you have to read defenses and adjust plays then read how the defense reacts to the play and how you need to react to it. on defense a linebacker has to read the play in less than half of a second and react to it immediately. watch them during a game and tell me they dont use their brains. football is one of the most mind based sports there is. you probably have never played or watched it have you?

Don't forget to mention that in Basketball you watch the game for 3 hours for 48 minutes of gameplay, plenty of commercials for the people with ADD. And yeah all the scoring and still 9 out of 10 games end in a score difference of 1 or 2 points. Most basketball games can be watched for the last 2 minutes, 3 minutes if playoffs, and not really miss anything. You can hate, but 24.3 million people watched the world cup final game in the US. Compared to 7 games average NBA finals of 18.1 million.

Seeing as the score is now 0-0 at the 100th minute, I thought of this video. Will someone win before we get to penalties?
Anyway... to anyone who says if you don't like soccer don't watch it... well... I like soccer, I just think the scoring system sucks and faster paced variants like indoor soccer and futsal and typical scores of say 4-2 are far more interesting. Too many of these games are coming down to flukes, penalties or bad calls from officials.
