You have to admit, for the kind of character that he is, it is actually kind of badass that he's just easily slinging around a hammer that's five tons.

Think about it for a second, he's twirling a hammer that's about as heavy as a couple of TRUCKS. I think he's allowed to gloat a little bit if he can do something like that.

Make no sense though, Gol. D Rodgers adventures happened 20 years ago, 22 if you count the SPOILERtimeskipSPOILER, and was yet to be forgotten, I don't think Luffy and his crew would be forgotten if they found One Piece, sailed all of the grand line and became the freaking greatest pirate crew on the planet. Besides only a few people can't see that Sogeking and Usopp are the same person(Luffy and Chopper.) So it'd be impossible for Oda to end it that way O:
