I do not need to be a lawyer to research police crimes; I know how to read. Most cops are basically honest but unconditionally support those who are not. Therein lies the main problem. The crimes of the relatively few sociopathic cop madmen are covered up or ignored by their brother officers. It is a federal felony for a cop to not report another cop's crime of which he is a material witness. That makes all cops felons, at least in a passive-aggressive way.

As many videos graphically evidence, Philadelphia police officers deliberately provoke, enrage and antagonize law-abiding taxpayers who compensate them in order to have an excuse to arrest, assault, torture, Taser, Mace and otherwise dominate and control them. If this suspect is guilty and the cop followed the law, he deserves a medal. However, Philadelphia cops perpetually lie and have little, if any, credibility with the public. Even when cops are caught on video lying and committing felonies, such as Officer Alberto Lopez was, the cops are almost never held accountable. There is no way for the public to know what actually happened, so we must assume the worst. The cop involved in this incident is a murderer who planted a gun.

I do not need to be a lawyer to research police crimes; I know how to read. Most cops are basically honest but unconditionally support those who are not. Therein lies the main problem. The crimes of the relatively few sociopathic cop madmen are covered up or ignored by their brother officers. It is a federal felony for a cop to not report another cop's crime of which he is a material witness. That makes all cops felons, at least in a passive-aggressive way.

According to numerous studies, including one about Philadelphia cops conducted in 2004 by an ex-prosecutor, over 99% of police crimes and other wrongdoing are covered up. You are merely guessing about what causes cops' stress. I am well aware of the psychological tests are performed on police applicants, but those tests are obviously inadequate at weeding out mental defectives.

No permit, illegal firearm, resisting arrest, not complying with officers orders to put the gun down, I cant see where the officer was wrong by any means. Now the person in question was a criminal, convicted before, and not allowed to carry a firearm, why did he have one illegally then? Well if he was a law abiding citizen with a permit for his firearm then he wouldn't have been shot. He could have told the officer he had a permit to carry a firearm and this would not have happened. The hiring and retention standards for so-called law enforcement officers should be infinitely higher than they are now. It is currently far more difficult to get hired as a janitor in the private sector than it is to become a cop.

Extrapolating, using the Philadelphia Police Department's own statistics, 4.8% of pigs will be arrested. Also, a large study evidenced that only 8% of police crimes will result in an arrest. Using the aforementioned set of data, assuming a proportional distribution of crimes committed by cops arrested and those not, one could logically conclude that 60% of cops are criminals. That percentage is probably 100% if conspiracy and aggravated perjury are counted (re: the blue wall of silence.)
