Only the word 'freaky' with a date and place (without a city). You can barely make out someone whispering during the sound. my guess is that its an aural phenomenon (auroras aka northern lights are visual manifestations of the suns radiation/solar particles that have hit our atmosphere & caused a geomagnetic storm) ... a few days before the noises, there was a giant solar flare complete with solar tsunami that impacted our magnetosphere. Im thinking if these storms can cause visual auroras, they can probably cause auditory ones as well.
The thing to remember is that we've had the northern lights all of recorded history, but these weird sounds have only started in the last couple years.
I'm starting to think that all of these "strange sound" videos are some kind of marketing ploy for some big movie like "The Avengers" or "The Dark Knight Rises".

As we were in an empty field environment I took it to be energy sounds, couldn't be anything physical. I feel it is energy sound but who knows.

Great job capturing these sounds! We heard these exact same sounds over our town last night, 1/28/12, just 130 miles to the north of where this video was shot less than two weeks ago. This person did a great job capturing these sounds on video as my cell could not pick them up.
The trouble with this sound phenomenon is that there is no way of providing concrete evidence for it. The listener would have to experience it personally. I have been told, by a reliable source, that such a phenomenon is being reported, via email, from different parts of the world. Nevertheless, neither I, nor that reliable source, have heard anything for ourselves.
@clemstevenson that is a good position. Not everyone has heard it and some hear different tones so I can understand you taking a back seat position. When the video first starts and he's in the room, notice how you hear the sound as if the window is closed. Then when he opens the window, notice how magically the sound now sounds as if the window is open. Do you know why? What amazes me is that most of these 'strange noise' videos are recorded inside a building or home where sound equipment could easily be kept out of view. They would be infinitely more believable if the person recording the sound were to stand in the middle of a field while being filmed by a second party to prove the validity of the recording.

I tried to record a screen video of it - in Rainbow colormap, but it failed miserably on my Win7 x64. I have seen at least one video like this that the guy admitted was a fake in his comments... I really wish people would grow up and quit trying to pull hoaxes. There may actually be something serious going on but its impossible to tell because there are so many morons in the world. Also, I do find it strange that in this video and many like it there is no commentary from the person shooting the video. No details, no reactions, nothing. I can promise you I would say something!!

Great job capturing these sounds! We heard these exact same sounds over our town last night, 1/28/12, just 130 miles to the north of where this video was shot less than two weeks ago. This person did a great job capturing these sounds on video as my cell could not pick them up.

The trouble with this sound phenomenon is that there is no way of providing concrete evidence for it. The listener would have to experience it personally. I have been told, by a reliable source, that such a phenomenon is being reported, via email, from different parts of the world. Nevertheless, neither I, nor that reliable source, have heard anything for ourselves.

When the video first starts and he's in the room, notice how you hear the sound as if the window is closed. Then when he opens the window, notice how magically the sound now sounds as if the window is open. Do you know why? What amazes me is that most of these 'strange noise' videos are recorded inside a building or home where sound equipment could easily be kept out of view. They would be infinitely more believable if the person recording the sound were to stand in the middle of a field while being filmed by a second party to prove the validity of the recording.

This OOOOOOOOOOOOM sound is sooooo beautiful like some GONG in heaven..... also very nice looking on the OvertoneAnalyzer! You should see it. (freely available at sygyt com). I tried to record a screen video of it - in Rainbow colormap, but it failed miserably on my Win7 x64. Just try Overtone Analyzer yourself. and it might come handy also to google out: recording "What You hear" in windows 7. - now I must see the weird sky sound from CZECH ! :)
