  • Beautiful, mellow tone!

  • Sounds great. Nice tone and tasty playing. I have a few PRS guitars and I was checking this out to see what the Hollowbody II sounded like. Clean tone is great!

  • Way cool dude. I like it a lot.

  • the hb2 is absolutely great for jazz. it blews away any gibson semihollow. btw: great solo!

  • @quickle007 Awesome song, man! I'd like to have this mp3 in my jazz collection for sure. How much does this guitar cost? I fell in love with it after discovering that besides the two humbucking pickups it has also piezoelectric pickups for acoustic sound. That's perfect!

  • Nice tone and nice playing!

  • Nice playing. Are those PRS archtop or 245 pickups.

  • @Ganther100 Hi, they are archtop pickups.

  • How wonderful! Congratulations on your PRS hollowbody as well as your recording, which sounds so polished/professional. I plan to pop in a PRS 57/08 neck p/up in my current jazz box....I'm so impressed with them (after having tried the very same guitar you're playing here).

  • That lick from 1:13 to 1:16 sounds so good over those chords.

  • Nice tone and lovely playing. Great stuff...

  • Many tks again, for clarifying... I was just looking at a Danelectro Top 10 micro amp... Would you believe that?

  • Thank you for answering, quickle. I am ordering a HDII... definitively! Now... what is a Tone 10? Tks. again...

  • @rmoraespinto Sorry, I mean the position of tone knob. 10 means full. Both 10 and 0 sound good :-)

  • @quickle007 wow...your improv from 1:36 through 1:47 was juicy, dude!

  • @quickle007 wow...your improv from 1:36 through 1:47 was juicy, dude! But there are so many to single out...you've got "it" man!

  • Excellent playing and demo. Thank you! Incidentally, I am considering buying one of those PRS Hollowbody IIs... How's the clean sound coming out of the neck PU? Do you think it is good for jazz?

  • @rmoraespinto It IS good for JAZZ. The tone in this song is from Front PU and Tone 10. It is jazzy, isn't it? Furthermore, Tone 0 is quite interesting. Please try it! Hollobody II is a great guitar.

  • I love your songs. It's fantastic!!

  • Mellow. On par with George Benson. I'm remembering this one!

  • @gamehunter015 Thank you for the comment. Yes it IS my original song .

  • so beautifull

  • COOL ! do u have ur own recordings? i whish 2 have

  • Wonderful. Interesting and clever but not a bit pretentious.Bravo!

  • L.O.V.E - I.T

    Badass...

  • What's the background? Did you multi-track it or get it somewhere?

  • @KutWrite Thanks for the interest. All the tracks are played or programmed by myself. DAW I use is SONAR. Drums VSTi is Toontrack EZdrummer.

  • FAKE

Just kidding, I loved it. Thumb up for you.

  • Very nice song and playing!! I also own a HBII, very good instrument. What strings are you using in it? The support center told me not to even try flatwound strings or I`d ruin the sound and the neck, that pissed me off. You are using rounds, right?

  • @Grooveitman: I have never tried the flat wound strings. I use D'Addario EXL115, .011-.049, 3rd string is plain. Anyway I cannot believe the answer of CS.

  • Hi there, great tone and tune! I'm thinking about buying a Hollowbody II as well, but I was wondering how the "semi-distorted" tones are (a la Carlton)... Any thoughts?

  • @timpiegitaar: Thanks for your interest. Such a tone you say can be easily obtained by using tube oriented overdrive item, I think. I'm using BOSS OD-1 which has quite a good matching to this guitar. If you have an interest, please come to my homepage and try to listen to a song "9 o'clock am". In this song, I use OD-1 from 1'01".

  • Amazing guitar, i also love that blue, great playing!

  • great tone!

  • wow, awesome tone

  • @empoeta :Thank you very much.

  • love your tone and style!

  • Thank you!

  • This song sounds very familiar! I don't know why but I can't put my finger on it. It's like a song from the beginning of a happy video game.. or Friends the tv show.

  • Thanks. Actually I composed this song in very short time. So, the melody is quite straight ahead.

  • This is some sweet playing.

  • I'm happy to hear it.

  • great tone! greetings from italy

  • Thank you!

  • Yes Man! Really tasteful playing!

  • Thank you very much. Please watch my video next time too.

  • Cool Beans Brother!!! I so want a PRS hollowbody. You should make a vidoe using the piezo pick up

  • Thanks.

Regarding the piezo, it's interesting. I will think about upload that video.

  • Nice playing, pal. I also own a prs hbII, it`s a very good instrument. Regards.

  • You own one! Happy to hear that. It's really good in both the sound and the playability.

  • on which scale are you improvising from 0:30 to 0:50?

  • Interesting question, thanks.

    The notes are

    F G Ab Bb C D E F

That can be called F melodic minor, maybe.

    But I don't know :-)

  • thanks! I'll try it! awesome guitar and playing!

  • this is nice. sounds like the music from a video game when you beat the level or win the game. like from sonic or mario.

  • ha ha. I didn't image the game music. but I feel happy that you pointed this song as a fun music. thanks

  • that was really nice. I'm looking into getting a prs hopefully soon, very possibly the hollowbody 1 or 2

  • Thanks for the comment. It's a really nice guitar. Get it!

  • one day for sure!

  • i vomitted. jk its good

  • Really nice job, on a really sweet axe.

  • Thanks for the warm comment.

  • Man, that`s great and very beautiful. Is that hollowbody II completely stock, are those archtops pickups?

  • Yes. It is completely stock and I made no modification on it. In detail, I will write in a personal message.

    Thanks.

  • are you using some type of band composition software to create backtracks? thanks

  • I'm using SONAR for the recording and MIDI programming. No particular composition tools.

  • I aspire to play like you one day! That was great.

  • Thank you for viewing it. And sorry for the unspectacular video.

  • video is perfect. I was staring at your finger work and listening to how dynamic your picking and finesse. Amazing.
